Antonio or the message, Little Things Orchestra

The set features an empty central space, a space for the audience, while the movements of the main characters are marginalised outside the room, around the perimeter in a narrow corridor. This narrow corridor represents ‘the house’.

The story is taking place in an English country house. Visitors with a secretly kept past, arrive from various places in search of refuge. Their behaviour is mysterious and their intentions unclear. Supposedly war is raging outside but perhaps this is false and war has passed.

Antonio, the lead character, lives in the centre of this fragmented narration and alongside the audience, he too becomes a spectator.

The separate audience groups, are watching different aspects of ‘the house’, allowing only limited views through selected doors. Every spectator is invited to compose their very own story through a different set of scenes they perceive from their perspective.
